Our poor tulips are confused! Due to the abnormally warm weather the last few weeks in NC, they apparently thought it's already Spring and have started to pop out from the soil. Now that there is finally a cold front coming through, Shuwen had to dig them all out and transfer them to potters today in order to prevent them from freezing over tonight. Hopefully they will do OK being indoors.

We are getting back into the swing of things here in NC. Shuwen is taking one class and auditing two (French and a Public Investment Theory course which Marc is TA-ing), still working on her proposal, and have been wondering about the meaning of life lately. Marc is taking Econometrics (and enjoying Fortran :P ), auditing an Water systems class, TA-ing a class, finishing up his MSE paper, and juggling a number of other projects.

We bought a duck last weekend and may attempt to cook it soon.
