Marc is defending his dissertation entitled "Planning water resources development in an uncertain climate future: A hydro-economic simulation framework applied to the case of the Blue Nile" on Friday (Sept 11th), starting at 8am! Given that his advisor asked whether he could host a celebration get together at his place that evening seems to indicate that Marc should pass. Yay!

But Marc is being a good hubby and will be going up to Blowing Rock that afternoon to catch Shuwen & her team (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Bracelet) race in the Blue Ridge Relay, a 211 mile hilly run (mostly) along the Blue Ridge over the course of 28-32 hours.

The celebrations will have to wait a little, but there will be CeleBrATioNs!
