The holidays are quickly approaching, which is a rather frightening thought for us since we will have much to accomplish before the new years. We have been working hard trying to make progress on our dissertations, which on some days seem like despite the hours of work we put in is headed nowhere. In order to graduate in May, we will need to defend by mid-March, so as to allow a couple of weeks for revisions before submitting our final dissertation to the graduate school. So, there is a bit of a time-crunch here. We are both ~ 50% done with the writing, but who knows what new things will get thrown in the mix and mess up our plans?
