Here is a nice math problem to try to figure out:
If Marc's pace for a 60-lap (~15 mile) race around a track is around 76 seconds/ lap, can a group of ragtag non-competitive runners collectively beat him??
Based on some back of the envelope calculations, we will need one of the following:
1) 15 people rotating, each running 4 laps @ ~ 76 sec/ lap with ~17-18 min rest between each lap.
2) 12 people rotating, each running 5 laps @ ~ 76 sec/ lap with ~14 min rest between each lap.
3) 10 people rotating, each running 6 laps @ ~ 76 sec/ lap with ~11-11.5 min rest between each lap.
The question is, can we find enough people we know who can do the above? Let me know if you want to start a team to challenge Marc :P
