We particularly like how this tells us how severely
overweight/ obese the world in general is (yes, yes, of course BMI is not the
best way to measure fatness… but at a population level it certainly is the
easiest).

If anyone is interested, both Marc & I have BMIs of 20.
Marc is lighter than 97% of males 30-44y in the US (94% of males 30-44y in
France), 75% of males 30-44y in the world, and is most like someone from
Eritrea. I am lighter than 94% of females 30-44 in the US (77% of females
30-44y in Singapore), 80% of females 30-44y in the world, and am most like
someone from Ethiopia.
