The semester has official come to a close. Marc is done grading papers, but is still busy working on several projects. Shuwen has gotten a new lease on her research readings and is having fun pouring over the literature (and trying to keep them organized), taking notes and pondering on them. Her climbing partner & good friend, Amy is buying a house in Hillsborough and so they spent most of yesterday measuring spaces and checking out furniture together.

We went strawberry picking on Friday morning -- it was a little drizzly and cold (for here), but being outside in the countryside was very pleasant. The berries were lusciously succulent, intensely sweet, and definitely ready to be picked! We had to resist getting anymore than a basketful of strawberries since we will be heading out of town early next week. Yesterday, Marc baked two Strawberry-Rhubarb pies!

Meanwhile, we are working on figuring out our summer plans. We have a 'live' document posted (to the right) on our summer travels plans and contact info (for posterity) as we figure them out.
